HERE’S HOW TO FIX THE MOST COMMON ISSUES ABOUT CONNECTIVITY AND PAIRING:
Most connectivity problems suddenly arises due to updated software on the phone.
Make sure to try the following steps after updating your device:
If you experience connectivity or other problems related to your phone we always recommend to try the following: Delete the headphones from the BT menu on your phone. Turn off the headphones Restart your phone Re-connect the headphones via BT (remember to put them into pairing mode by pressing and holding the power button for 7 seconds).
Problems with BT connectivity
Here’s what you can do to resolve both Wi-Fi and BT problems in one fell swoop: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. It’s the third option down, and you’ll want to avoid Reset All Settings and Erase All Content and Settings. By selecting “Reset Network Settings” you’ll keep your data intact, but your BT/Wireless connects will be back to their default settings. That usually solves your issue.
Soft reset on the headphones
AL3+ FREEDOM SERIES – The headphones should be turned off. Then they have to be charging (red light will be on). Press and hold the power button for 6-8 seconds until it quickly flashes BLUE 1 or 2 times, then following with the red light on again. Then it should be reset.
BOOM SERIES – In charging mode, press MVB (multifunction button) + Volume up for 5 seconds.
BT signal and connectivity in general
While the range of BT is 10 meters, the recommended optimal range for any BT stereo device is half a meter in direct line to your music device, particularly outdoors when the signal cannot bounce off walls and ceilings. This rule applies to any brand of BT stereo devices. In MIIEGO headphones, the antenna is located in the right-side earpiece. So please make sure your device is on the right side of the body for optimal connectivity while outdoors! This will help avoid signal dropouts. Please also be aware that antennas on iPhones are located in the bottom of the phone.
