RENÉ HOLTEN CUTS THROUGH THE WATER ON COURSE TOWARDS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SPRINT KAYAK

When 32-year-old professional kayaker René Holten Poulsen takes to the water at Bagsværd Lake on September 17th, it’s to compete at the World Championships in sprint kayak for the 11th time.

His impressive history involves an astonishing 24 medals from European-, World, and Olympic championships as well as an award for Sports Name of the Year.

René Holten Poulsen’s nickname in the sports industry is “Powerhouse Poulsen” and there’s no doubt that he’s a man of great force and will. Not only is he statuesque, strong, and capable of mustering much power, but his psyche is also strengthened by his many years as a professional kayaker.

It takes a lot of persistence, dedication, and character to get in the boat and give it your all towards the finish line. But René Holten Poulsen dares to do so.

For that reason and many more, we at MIIEGO are very proud to have René Holten Poulsen as an ambassador on our #teammiiego. We have nothing but respect and admiration for people, who like René, are genuinely passionate about their sport or active lifestyle and aim to do their best – no matter how big or small of a goal.

I use MIIEGO because it’s generally important that your headphones are water resistant when you do water sports. Besides that, the MiiBUDS ACTION II are incredibly light. You move around a lot when you’re on the water, but the ear hooks make sure that they fit perfectly during my workouts. They just stay in place!
