1. SHOPPING ON THE WEBSITE

When you place an order on our website, you accept our terms and conditions.

All prices on MIIEGO's website include 25% Danish VAT, taxes and duties. Prices are current prices in EUR. Prices may vary due to availability of goods, price changes and errors.

Please note that customers outside the EU are subject to VAT, taxes etc. in their own country when they receive the goods. In the event of customs charges in countries outside the EU, the recipient is responsible for payment. You must be at least 18 years of age to shop on our website.

We always try to ensure that all prices are correct, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the order you have placed, we will contact you as soon as possible. You then have two options:
· 1. Re-confirm your order at the correct price, or
· 2: Cancel your order. If we cannot contact you, the order will be treated as cancelled. If you choose to cancel your order yourself, but it has been paid for, we will refund the full amount.

On our website you can buy wireless headphones and speakers as well as accessories for sports, e.g. running, fitness and other training.

2. PAYMENT

On MIIEGO.com you can pay with the following:

Dankort, MobilePay and various international debit/credit cards.

The amount will only be charged to your card when the goods are shipped from our warehouse. An amount greater than what you have authorized will never be charged.

3. PRICE SECURITY

At MIIEGO, you as a customer should feel safe before, during and after your purchase. We want satisfied customers. That is why we also offer you Price Security on all our products.

If you find an identical item that you purchased on www.miiego.com at a lower price elsewhere within 30 days of your purchase, we will refund the price difference via a gift voucher. You can use the gift voucher on www.miiego.com.

Price Guarantee Conditions:

  • The claim for Price Guarantee must be made within 30 days of the purchase or delivery date.
  • The price to be matched must apply at the time the claim for Price Guarantee is made.
  • You must be able to provide purchase documentation from MIIEGO.
  • The item must be documented as being in stock and can be purchased from a dealer with a Danish address and registered Danish CVR number. The price of the item must include shipping.
  • Price Guarantee can only be used once per purchase.

Exceptions:

  • Items that are not identical are not covered by Price Guarantee. It must be the same model and the same technical specifications, the same color, the same dimensions, the same accessories, the same content, etc. That is, a 100% identical product.
  • The price guarantee does not include remaining lots, introductory offers, demo, outlet and exhibition models, queue offers, Black Friday special offers, club and member offers, special orders or special prices offered to newsletter recipients and the like.
  • The price guarantee does not include services such as delivery, special offers on shipping, etc.
  • The price guarantee only applies to private purchases incl. VAT and cannot be combined with other discounts.

4. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE WHEN PURCHASING ON OUR WEBSITE

TRY YOUR MIIEGO PRODUCT - YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO GET USED TO EXCELLENT SOUND AND COMFORT

It can be difficult to make the right choice. That's why we've introduced a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on purchases on the MIIEGO website. This means you can freely try the products at home and have ample opportunity to see if they suit you.  

Sound, fit and comfort are crucial to your performance. At MIIEGO, we're all about that. To be sure you're buying the right product, you can therefore try any MIIEGO product, accessories excluded, for 30 days - and if you're not 100% satisfied, we'll be happy to exchange it with a smile.

  • If you want to return your product, simply write to us within 30 days of the time of purchase. Then you must send us your product and your purchase receipt. When we have received your product back, you are free to choose another product from our range at the same price, or alternatively choose to have a gift voucher/credit card issued for the amount to our website. It's easy! - however, the product must be in a clean and neat condition and not damaged when you send it back to us. You must also remember to include the product's original packaging (including all accessories) in an intact condition. If the packaging is not included or is not intact/perfect, a 20 EUR depreciation fee will be deducted.
  • If you wish to upgrade your purchase to a product that costs more, you simply have to pay the difference between your original purchase and your new product choice.
  • If your new product choice costs less, you can purchase other MIIEGO products for the difference or have the remaining amount issued on a gift voucher for our website.
  • Shipping costs in connection with returns and redemption of the satisfaction guarantee are borne by you as the customer.

30-day trial period applies to all MIIEGO products excluding accessories.

Please note that our satisfaction guarantee only applies to MIIEGO products purchased directly from us via MIIEGO's website www.miiego.com. Other MIIEGO retailers may have different rules and arrangements.

5. DELIVERY

Normally, all orders will be handled and leave our Danish warehouse between 1-2 working days after order placement. However, in connection with campaigns, holidays and high season, slightly longer delivery times may occur.

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive package information via email in the form of a package number and Track n’ Trace link, so you can track your shipment. MIIEGO assumes no responsibility for any delays due to weather conditions, strikes, problems with the package retailer or third-party logistics.

International shipping costs depend on the receiving country and are fully visible at checkout.

Our responsibility for delayed deliveries

We always try to deliver products within the estimated time frame. However, sometimes delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances with our shipping partners, including force majeure. MIIEGO A/S cannot be held responsible for this.

Our responsibility for damaged products during transport

We assume responsibility for damage to products that occurred during transport. If you experience transport damage, you must immediately notify the carrier and also contact us directly. Responsibility passes to you as soon as you have physically received the product.

If you choose to return a product to us, you are responsible for any damage during transport until we have physically received the products back from you. Please note that returned products must be sent directly to our address and not to a parcel shop or similar.

Returns

As a customer at MIIEGO, you have a 30-day full right of return to return and cancel your order when shopping at MIIEGO.com. The right of withdrawal begins from the day you receive the item. Should you regret your purchase, please contact us at support@miiego.com before returning the item.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time. Should the purchase be canceled within 30 days, we will refund the entire purchase price (this does not apply to additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer) if the conditions below are met.

Please note: you as a customer are responsible for all costs associated with the return.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us that you wish to cancel within 30 days of receiving your order. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

Uncollected items in a parcel shop are NOT considered returned items, but the customer will be charged for return shipping and can choose to have the package resent by paying a new shipping fee. All costs of returning the item to MIIEGO are borne by the consumer. There is no right of withdrawal for traders.

The right to cancel a purchase and receive a full refund of the purchase price can only be exercised and granted if the item is returned in the same condition as received. This assumes that the item still appears new so that it can be sold again. This also includes intact, complete and undamaged packaging, as the original packaging is a significant part of the product value. Therefore, always take extra care of the original packaging in case you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal. Missing or damaged original packaging results in a reduction in the sales value. If the packaging is not returned or is not intact/complete, a EUR 20 depreciation fee (equal to the original packaging) will be deducted.

If the product has lost value, and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the nature, properties and the way it works, you can only get part of the purchase price back. Alternatively, you can use our Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme. The amount you can get back by exercising the right of withdrawal depends on the commercial value of the product.

If you regret your purchase, the purchase amount will be returned and refunded to the same payment method/credit card you used to place the order, unless we have agreed otherwise. The amount will be returned within 5 business days after we have received the returned product back and confirmed that it complies with the rules for canceling the order.

Remember to enclose a copy of the invoice or order confirmation when you return the product to us. You are responsible for sending returned goods back to us. Therefore, remember to save the postal/delivery receipt as documentation that the product has been sent to us. Please note – we do not accept packages sent to parcel shops, cash on delivery or similar. Any questions should be directed to MIIEGO's customer service.

Please note that products purchased from one of our MIIEGO dealers must be returned to the same dealer where you originally purchased the product in accordance with their terms of sale.

6. COMPLAINTS AND WARRANTY - DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BUSINESS PURCHASES AND CONSUMER PURCHASES

COMPLAINTS AND WARRANTY FOR COMPANY GIFTS AND COMPANY CHRISTMAS GIFTS VIA AN EXTERNAL DEALER (COMPANY PURCHASE):

If you have received your product as a company gift or company Christmas gift, you must contact your dealer directly for complaint clarifications and questions, as this is the dealer who provides support and guarantees, etc.

Please note that this is not an ordinary private/consumer purchase. Instead, it is a business sale (b2b sale) between two traders on specially agreed terms, which is why the normal provisions of the Danish Sales Act for consumer purchases do not apply.

Most gift retailers that make business sales typically provide up to 12 months of warranty on b2b gift products, but this can vary, and we therefore recommend that you contact your gift retailer/supplier directly and check which warranty terms and conditions for business sales apply to them. This applies to both the right of withdrawal and the right of warranty/guarantee on company gifts and company Christmas gifts.

Unfortunately, MIIEGO A/S cannot provide information from which gift retailer a specific product may have been purchased. MIIEGO A/S does not offer exchanges or returns of products that have been purchased/received via gift retailers. MIIEGO A/S cannot be held responsible for returned goods or complaints, including return shipping regarding business purchases and company gifts/company Christmas gifts.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT AND WARRANTY FOR CONSUMER PURCHASES DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE:

For private/consumer purchases directly on our website you have a 24-month right of complaint, which means that within this period, if you file a justified complaint in time, you can either have your product repaired, replaced or have the price reduced or your money refunded, depending on the specific situation. In principle, we will always first try to help you by repairing or replacing your product, if it is covered by the right of complaint.

The right of complaint covers manufacturing and material defects that are detected during the normal use of the product.

The right of complaint does not cover faults, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation, poor maintenance, damage, violence or unauthorized interventions. If your product has been lost, exposed to strong sunlight, cold or otherwise damaged, this is also not covered by the right of complaint.

Nor is it covered normal wear and tear of your product when it has been in use.

The right of complaint does not cover consumer goods that are expected to wear out as a result of correct use over time. In this connection, read more about built-in batteries below.

For a complaint to be valid, you must complain as soon as possible and within a reasonable time after you have discovered a fault, as otherwise the right of complaint will lapse. Here, a maximum of two months is considered a reasonable time unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you make a complaint about a defect in a product between 12-24 months after purchase, according to the Danish Sales Act, you are basically the one who must prove that the manufacturer/seller is responsible for the defect. This does not mean that you must perform a technical examination of the product - but you must demonstrate that the defect is not due to your incorrect use of the product or other improper handling.

Please note that complaints about products purchased from one of our MIIEGO dealers must be processed by the same dealer where you originally purchased the product. Make sure to keep your receipt, as this is your proof of purchase and warranty.

For goods purchased directly on our website, we need the following information if you wish to return an item to us:
Please contact us at support@miiego.com before returning a product. When returning a product, you must always enclose the invoice, your updated contact information and a detailed description of the defect.

You are responsible for your shipment of goods to us, and remember that the product must always be returned in correct packaging - and directly to our address. Remember to save the postal/courier receipt as documentation of the shipment.
NOTE! We do not accept packages sent to parcel shops, cash on delivery or similar.

Please note that we unfortunately do not provide a guarantee or right of complaint on products without a purchase receipt or that have been won in a competition, donated or sponsored.

Special info about built-in batteries:

Built-in batteries can often be a  part of the product you have purchased from us. Therefore, the two-year warranty for consumer purchases also applies to this part of the product. BUT batteries have a limited number of charging cycles before their performance is expected to decrease. If your product does not work due to this natural wear and tear on the battery, you are therefore not necessarily entitled to repair or replacement, as this is not a defect in the product but is expected to occur over time.

PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY

If damage occurs due to a defective product, or if there is a risk or danger that damage may occur, you are obliged to contact MIIEGO in writing without undue delay. We assume product responsibility in accordance with the Danish Product Liability Act.

Limitation of responsibility: We are only liable for direct bodily injury and/or direct damage to real estate or personal property caused by total negligence on the part of MIIEGO. However, we are not responsible for any special, incidental, consequential or indirect damage.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content in the webshop and on the website belongs to MIIEGO A/S and is protected under Danish copyright law. This means that you may not reproduce, copy, use or modify our information, images, videos or text without our prior written permission.

LAW AND LAW

All orders placed on MIIEGO's webshop are governed by Danish law, and MIIEGO A/S submits to the Danish courts.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

The Privacy Policy section describes the data security practices of MIIEGO A/S (hereinafter referred to as MIIEGO). MIIEGO provides services to users worldwide based on a distributor/retail distribution model. MIIEGO is the data controller for all data collected via miiego.com, unless another country is represented by a local MIIEGO distributor and you use the local MIIEGO distributor to access our products and services [1]. Here the local distributor listed as the controller of the relevant website is the data controller for your information.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Our described privacy policy applies to the information we collect and use about you when you:

  • Use the MIIEGO.com website (including local and regional websites – miiego.de and miiego.nl to a limited extent[2]),
  • Purchase products on MIIEGO.com (including miiego.de and miiego.nl to a limited extent[3]),
  • Interact with our international SoMe accounts on Facebook and Instagram (MIIEGO),
  • Contact us at support@miiego.com or +45 70 277 887 to initiate any claim.
  • Contact MIIEGO directly regarding potential business collaboration (via phone, email), including at special events (exchange of business cards, etc.)[4]

We collectively refer to the above products and services as “Services”.

We obtain information about you through the channels discussed below when we provide Services. Please note that we need certain types of information in order to provide Services to you. If you do not provide us with such information, or you ask us to delete it, you will no longer be able to access or use our Services.

Information You Provide to Us

MIIEGO collects a variety of information that you provide directly to us, such as:

  • Processing your order,
  • Requests or questions you submit to us via online forms or email,
  • Your communications and general interactions with us (including on our websites, at special events, by phone, on third-party social media, or by email),
  • Uploads or postings to the various Services.
  • Requests for customer support and technical assistance.

While some of the Services may not require you to provide information that directly identifies you by name, certain Services depend on the specific types of information we collect, including which Services you use, how you use them, and what you choose to provide. The types of data we collect directly from you include:

  • Name, address, telephone number, and email address (and company name, address, contact information, and other business information[5])

  • Information about others. If you request that your MIIEGO purchase be shipped to someone other than yourself (e.g. as a gift recipient), we will use the information you provide about that other person to fulfill the shipment.

When you use our Services, we collect certain information as described in this section. As described below, we and our service providers (who are third-party companies working on our behalf – e.g. marketing agencies, etc.) may use various technologies, including cookies and similar tools, to help collect this information.

  • Website: When you use our website, we collect and analyze information such as your IP address, browser type, browser language, operating system, region or country from which you access the Services, software and hardware attributes (including device ID), referring pages, exit pages and web addresses, platform type, number of clicks, files you download, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on certain pages, the terms you use in searches on our websites, date and time, when you used the Services and upload or download, log file and/or log-in errors and similar information.

Information We Collect Through Social Media and Other Platforms

  • Social Media and Other Platforms: If you access the Services through a third-party connection or log-in (e.g., through a social network), you may have given us permission to store certain information from your social network profile. This includes your name, gender, profile picture, your “Likes” and check-ins, and your list of friends, depending on your settings on such platforms. If you do not want this information to be shared, you should not use a social network connection to access the Services. When you “Like” or “Follow” us on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media, we may collect certain information from and about you, including your name, email address, and any comments or content you post that are relevant to us. We also collect your information if you sign up for one of our promotions or send us information via social media.

Information We Collect from Others

  • MIIEGO may receive additional information, such as demographic and statistical information, from third parties, such as business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, and other parties with whom we may share your information, based on your infotype in relation to certain statistical groups. We use this information to supplement the information we collect directly from you, to get an idea of your possible interests and relevant experiences you have with MIIEGO, and to improve MIIEGO products, analytics, and advertising.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

MIIEGO and/or our service providers use your information (including any information we collect as described in the Privacy Policy section) for various purposes – depending on the types of information we have collected and where the information comes from.

  • To provide you with information about products you have purchased from us,

Combined Information. We may combine the purposes discussed in the Privacy Policy section with the information we collect through the Services and the information we receive from other sources, both online and offline, and use such combined information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Aggregate/Anonymous Data. We aggregate and/or anonymize all information collected through the Services so that such information can no longer be associated with you. We may use Aggregate/Anonymous Information for any purpose, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes, and may also share such data with third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners and sponsors.

LEGAL BASIS FOR USING YOUR DATA

The legal basis for using your information, as described in this Privacy Policy section, is as follows:

  • Where use of your information is necessary to perform our obligations under a contract with you (for example, to comply with: Terms of Service on our websites, which you accept by browsing the websites / accepting this Privacy Policy / making a purchase);
  • Where use of your information is necessary for our legitimate interests, or other legitimate interests (for example, to provide security for our websites, products, operate our business and our Services, make and receive payments, comply with legal requirements and defend our legal rights, prevent fraud, and to know the customer to whom we provide Services).

In order to collect the information as mentioned in the section above, we and our service providers use web server logs, cookies, tags, SDKs, tracking pixels and other similar tracking technologies. We use these technologies to offer you a more tailored experience in the future by understanding and remembering your particular browser references.

ONLINE ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING

Analytics

  • We use third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) on our Services to collect and analyze usage information through cookies and similar tools; for audit, research, or reporting purposes; and to assist in fraud prevention; and to provide certain features to you. The ads may be based on various factors, e.g. the content of the page you visit, information you enter, your age and gender, your searches, demographic data, user-generated content and other information we collect from you. MIIEGO also allows other third parties (e.g. ad networks and ad servers such as Google Analytics, Facebook and others) to serve tailored advertisements to you on social media, other websites and in other applications and to access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone or other device that you use to access the Services.
  • We do not have access to, nor do we have access to, the privacy policies and guidelines that govern the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on your device that you use to access the Services by unaffiliated third parties. If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being placed on your computer. To opt out of receiving personalized advertising, you can visit the Consumer Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link, or check your online choices to opt out of receiving personalized advertising from companies that participate in these programs. Please note that if you adjust your settings in accordance with the opt-out options described above, you will still see advertising when you use the Services, but it will not be personalized to you based on your online behavior measured over time.

Mobile Advertising

When you use mobile applications, you may also receive personalized ads within the application. We may use third-party service providers to serve ads on mobile applications or for mobile application analytics. Each operating system, iOS for Apple phones, Android for Android devices, and Windows for Microsoft devices, provides its own instructions on how to prevent the delivery of personalized ads within the application. We do not control how the applicable platform operator allows you to control the receipt of personalized ads within applications; therefore, you should contact the platform provider for more information on opting out of personalized ads. You can review the support materials and/or device settings for the respective operating systems to opt out of personalized ads within the application.

HOW WE SHARE AND PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

MIIEGO may share your information in the following ways:

Distributors.

We may share information we collect with our MIIEGO business partners (e.g., MIIEGO distributors) to provide products and Services to you, to ensure a consistent level of service across our products and Services, and to improve our products, services, and your customer experience.

Service Providers.

We provide access to, or share your information with, selected third parties who perform services and/or maintenance on our behalf. They have access to perform these services, but are prohibited from using your information for any other purposes. They provide a wide range of services to us, including billing, sales, marketing, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, shipping and tracking, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services. Such parties currently include delivery providers such as Pakkelabels.dk, and their delivery providers such as GLS, PostNord, DAO, etc.

Protection of MIIEGO and others

We may use information collected in connection with the monitoring of our websites, online services and emails,’ to protect you, our employees and our partners. This information may be sent to the police or other relevant authorities if necessary. By using our websites and online services, you expressly agree to this.

Business Agreements.

As we continue to develop our business, we may acquire, merge or collaborate with other companies. In such transactions (including in consideration of such transactions), user information may be among the transferred assets. If some or all of MIIEGO’s assets are sold or transferred to a third party, customer information (including your email address) will likely be one of the transferred business assets. If such a transfer is subject to additional mandatory restrictions under applicable laws, MIIEGO will comply with such restrictions at all times.

In the Public Space.

Certain features of our Services allow you to share comments publicly with other users. Any information you submit through such features is not confidential and MIIEGO may use it for any purpose (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). For example, if you submit a product review on one of our Social Media accounts, we may display your review (along with any name you may have provided) on other MIIEGO websites and on third-party websites. Any information you submit openly in these ways will be available to the public at large and may be accessible through third-party search engines.

RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
